Crafter's Corner

We are building a circle of crafters. We may have more work than one small practice can take on — and if you sew with recycled and reused material, we would like to know you.

Recycled and reused means working from what already exists: old clothes, offcuts, fabric headed for waste. Mending and repair count. Remaking counts. New garments from new fabric aren't this, and knitting isn't this either. We're in the United States for now.

Re-Sew Creative is one small sewing practice, and a circle of crafters is how we mean to keep good work moving when our own hands are full.

Send us a profile

Tell us what kind of sewing work you take on, the materials you work with, and where you are. A profile is simply how we get to know who is out there: your name, how to reach you, your city, state and zip, what you make, and the materials you use.

Work may be referred your way — a possibility, never a promise. We keep your profile so we can be in touch, consider you for work, and tell you what we are building.

Only the people working on Re-Sew Creative see your profile. We keep it so we can be in touch and consider you for work. Ask us to remove it and we will, whenever you ask — send us a profile removal request and tell us who you are.

Sharing your pictures

When you send us a picture of a piece, the picture stays yours. You give Re-Sew a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to show it on the Re-Sew website and in Re-Sew's own marketing, and to keep it as a reference for making similar pieces. We do not sell your picture and we do not pass it to anyone else to use.

Send us work that is yours to share: a piece you made, or a piece Re-Sew made for you. A crafted item that has branded or copyrighted markings has to be genuine, and those markings stay as they are. That covers copyright, trademarks and counterfeits — a genuine item whose markings are left untouched, and no reproduction of someone else's printed design or artwork.

You choose what to send us; we choose what we show.

If you would like a picture taken down, write to us through the Support page and we take it down.
