Privacy Policy
We're in the business of making new things from clothes and fabric that already exist — never in the business of selling your data. We collect only what you type into a form on this site or send us, we never sell or rent it, we never share it for anyone else's marketing, and nothing you type into a form is published.

Re-Sew Creative ("we," "our," or "us") is a small sewing practice. This policy explains what this website collects, where it is kept, who can see it, and how to have it removed.
1. What We Collect
Four forms on this site send us something, and each one asks only for what we need to answer it. You do not need an account to look around the site or to send any of them.
A custom project request (the custom page): your name, your email address, your phone number and the best time to reach you (both optional), how you would rather be contacted, what you tell us about the project, and the date and time you sent it.
A crafter's profile (the Crafter's Corner page): your name, your email address, your town or city, your state, your US zip code, what you make or would take on, the materials you work with, and anything else you add, with the date and time you sent it.
A message through the Support page contact form: your name, your email address, a subject, the category you chose, your message, and the date and time you sent it.
A profile removal request (the removal request form on the Crafter's Corner page): your name, the email address you used, your town or city, your state, anything you add, and the date and time you sent it. It is a request to us and nothing else — we act on it, and asking does not by itself change or delete anything.
That is all we ask for and all we hold about you. We do not buy details from anyone, add you to anything, or ask you for anything else.
2. How We Use It
We use what you send to read it, reply to you and — if we take the work on — to make the piece. Where a piece would be made by the one other maker we work with closely, we discuss the request with them. Beyond that, and the services named in section 3, we pass your details to nobody else.
Sending us a message does not add you to a mailing list or a newsletter, and we only get in touch about the thing you asked us about. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their marketing, and we do not use them for advertising or to build a profile of you.
A crafter's profile is for one thing: so we can be in touch, consider you for work, and tell you about Re-Sew Creative. Only the people working on Re-Sew Creative see it, and we keep it for nothing else.
A profile is not a membership, and it is not a place in a queue. There is nothing to pay, and nothing is being decided about you. We do not promise work, and we do not promise how quickly anything happens. If we have more work than we can take on ourselves, we may get in touch about it — a possibility, never a promise.
3. Where It Is Kept, and Who Can See It
What you send is saved in our database (hosted for us by Neon) and emailed to us (sent through Resend). Both are services we use to run the site — we do not run our own servers. The saved records are read in a private dashboard that only people we have signed in and allowed can open. Access is granted by a named email address; anyone the system cannot identify is refused.
No public page of this site ever reads those records, and nothing you type into a form appears on one — a profile included.
4. The Market, and Links to Other Sellers
The Market lists items we recommend from other sellers. Every link out to another seller is an affiliate link labelled as one on the page, and it carries our own affiliate tag. That tag tells the seller the visit came from us and lets us earn a commission on a qualifying purchase, at no extra cost to you. The only thing our link adds is the tag — we pass no other information about you to the seller.
When you follow one of those links you leave this site. The seller's own cookies, terms and privacy policy then apply to what you do there, not ours. We are not the seller of those items, and we never handle the purchase.
5. Cookies
We set no cookies of our own on the public site. The cookies that do appear come from two services used here: Cloudflare Turnstile, the human check on every public form, and Clerk, the sign-in used for the private dashboard. We put no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the site, and we do not track you around the web.
6. The Human Check
Every public form on this site carries a visible Cloudflare Turnstile human check, and it is never skipped. If the check cannot be completed, the form refuses the submission instead of saving it, tells you it was not sent, and lets you try again.
7. Email We Send You
Email from us is sent through Resend from an address at re-sew.com. It is deliberately plain: ordinary letters, no accented characters, no emoji and no typographic punctuation, because the route that carries our mail cannot pass the other kind of text — and a message that carried it would break the reply you send back. Replying to any message from us reaches us.
8. How Long We Keep It, and How to Have It Removed
Nothing is deleted on a timer: a request, a profile or a message stays in our database until we delete it. Ask us to remove it and we will do so, and tell you when it is done.
You can also ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. To ask us to remove a crafter's profile, use the profile removal request form; for anything else, use the contact form on our Support page and say what you want removed, or reply to any email from us.
When you ask us to remove a crafter's profile, we remove the profile itself. We keep the request, with the date we received it and the date we handled it, the outcome, and your name; we keep your email address in a disabled form, so that we cannot use it to reach you. The town, state and any note you gave us are cleared from the profile.
9. Photos and Images
Photos and images you send us — of your work, your project, or a piece we made for you — may be shown on this website, to show the work, and in our marketing. What you send a picture for is what we use it for, and we don't sell it. Ask us to remove an image you sent, using the contact form on the Support page, and we will remove it.
When you ask us to take a picture down we act on it, and we keep the ask as a record: your name, the email address you used, which picture you asked about, where on the site it is and the name of the piece or item, when you saw it if you told us, how it relates to you, what we did, and the dates we received it and handled it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We update this policy when what the site does changes. The date at the top of this page says when it last changed.
11. Contact
